Good health and food safety is of utmost importance to us, and in response to the current spread of COVID-19 we are taking certain measures to ensure we keep our staff and customers as safe as possible.
As always, employees will be washing their hands before and after handling any food products, receiving deliveries, using equipment, and interacting with customers picking up orders. Surfaces will be sanitized as needed, and staff will also be following a sanitizing checklist every 30 minutes. Mask wearing is optional for staff and customers, and will become mandatory should our government decide this is necessary.
During retail hours, we will be allowing 2 customer groups (up to 4 people) inside in the lineup at a time. We ask that customers maintain appropriate distancing of 6 ft apart, and we will have signage to assist in this awareness.
We have acrylic shields installed by the till, and the staff may wear masks if they choose.
If there is a line-up outside, please practice appropriate distancing of 6 feet apart.
Retail staff will have divided duties, so there will usually be one person gathering items and another person ringing through the transactions if there is a lineup. In the mornings we are also organizing orders. We appreciate your patience as service may take longer than you are used to. To stay efficient and clean, our staff may not answer the phones as frequently as in the past. Please leave a voicemail and they will return your call when they have enough time to address your questions properly.

Our Victoria location will offer shopping for takeout only; no seating at this time.
Our Westshore cafe will have limited seating inside and outside on our patio. We will accept groups of up to 4 people at one table, and customers will not move chairs from other tables. Customer will enter from the front doors only, and exit through the back doors only if there is a lineup.
Employees have been reminded to stay home if sick, keep small social bubbles, and have a daily health check-in from their supervisor.
If you are displaying any possible symptoms of covid-19 please refrain from entering our stores, and shop online instead for delivery. Our staff may need to request customers exit the store if they are displaying symptoms.
We are open for retail service, so feel free to drop by to shop!
If you prefer to order ahead first, check out our online store to arrange for pickup or delivery in Victoria & across Vancouver Island. We will not be accepting orders via phone, emails or in person. Please contact us if you need help placing an order online!
