It's berry season!! We are taking full advantage of local strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, tayberries, and blackberries and putting them on our cupcakes, tarts, cheesecakes, gateaux macarons, galettes and cakes. We have BC cherries too in our feature Black Forest Cake and Cherry Fudge Cupcakes.
Orchard Cupcakes: butter sponge cake topped with fresh berries and whipped chantilly cream
Cherry Fudge Cupcakes: chocolate cake topped with brandied cherry preserves, topped with chocolate fudge frosting and a fresh cherry
Seaside Cupcakes: ok these don't have berries, but they're summer themed! Almond cake is topped with teal and blue waves of lemon buttercream garnished with a 'whitecap' wave of crisp white meringue
Berry Charlotte Cake: two thick layers of butter sponge cake, middle layer of vanilla mousseline and fresh berries, top layer thin mousseline and berry miroir with fresh berries to garnish
Black Forest Cake: chocolate cake with several layers of brandied cherry preserves & chocolate brandy mousse, covered with chocolate fudge frosting and chocolate ganache, garnished with fresh cherries
Lemon Berry Tarts: lemon filling (usually infused with lavender), topped with fresh berries
