We are back after taking a lovely week off, and ready to feed you again! Hopefully you had some enjoyable holiday time, and are ready to tackle the new year with renewed energy.
For the first week or so this month we will be continuing a few features from December, such as our Chocolate Ginger Mousse Cake, butter tarts, lemon meringue tarts and mincemeat tarts so take advantage over the next few days! We'll also have a limited run of Almond Quince Cakes & cupcakes this week.
You'll see a transition soon to some new features, including a Chocolate Honeycomb Cake (and cupcakes), sugar cookie and gingerbread snowflakes, and some batches of our beloved lemon lavender tarts.

Some of you may feel like trying out some healthier options after eating too many holiday treats... Instead of our White Sourdough, why not try our much more interesting Multigrain Sourdough? Or our Pepita bread, made with ground raw pumpkin seeds and flax seeds?
If you're a fan of our Vega, you could try our Hype bread, which is a bit denser and 'brown bread' tasting from the buckwheat and teff flour - it's also dairy/egg-free!
Find our Bread Schedule, as well as ingredient info in the Breads section of our Menu.

Get some more fibre in your breakfast and try our crispy maple granola, made with gluten-free oats and a variety of seeds and coconut. Or muesli if you don't want the added sugar. Our muffins are made with healthy amaranth flour, and every time you buy 6 we donate to Mealshare:)
These days will be chilly, and we recommend a keeping a bag of our homemade marshmallows on hand for making special hot chocolate at home! Our gluten-free cookies and biscotti are great for dipping.

You can still buy our fabulous fruitcakes this week too, and they have quite a long shelf life in your fridge (I recommend storing in a plastic bag or cling wrap to keep for at least several months). If you don't think you like fruitcake, you should really give ours a try; it's nothing like grocery store fruitcake, and our most common feedback this Christmas went something like this: "This is not what I expected - it's the best fruitcake I've ever had!" Or... you just may not like fruitcake. You don't have to!
We have lots of other treats, such as our classic apple pie:)
