It barely feels like Spring, but Easter is only a couple weeks away!
Coconut Nest Cake - we have a new recipe for a fluffy white sponge cake, and we'll be layering it with lemon curd and coconut pastry cream, and covering the whole thing with vanilla buttercream, toasted coconut and a 'nest' of meringue mini eggs!
Triple Chocolate Cake - classic chocolate decadence for chocolate lovers. Chocolate cake, chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream. Enough said.
Sour Cherry Frangipane Tart - lemon pastry filled with sour cherry preserves, almond frangipane and garnished with buttercream that's been infused with Silk Road's organic matcha tea.

We have a new shortbread! We've partnered with Silk Road to produce a tea infused whipped shortbread cookie that has a firmer texture than our usual recipe and wonderful flavour. You'll be able to buy special box sets of these cookies at our bakeries and at Silk Road in Chinatown or online.
Sugar cookies are Easter themed of course, with bunnies & chicks and eggs with royal icing. For a light treat we'll have bags of mini meringue eggs (dairy-free!).

We'll have 2 meat pie flavours this month! Our steak & mushroom pies have been selling so well we decided to keep them going but we also wanted to introduce a new pie: Italian Meatball & Cheese! Definitely rich enough to feed 2 people. I may gain a few pounds this month.
Our turkey & brie baguette-wiches are made with our apple onion chutney, and our beef & cheddar bun-wich is now made on our new sandwich buns without sesame seeds!


Bulk up your Easter dinner with some gluten-free dinner rolls! Our focaccia dough pairs very well with ham or turkey dinner, and soaks up sauces and gravies perfectly. Order rolls ahead and tell us what kind of bread dough you prefer.
Side dishes are often the best part, and if you're jazzing up veggies by making a gratin, make it gluten-free topped with our breadcrumbs!
If you're lucky, you'll have leftovers. We now have sandwich buns that you can use for ham or turkey (or veggie) sandwiches! Made with our focaccia dough, and same size as our hamburger buns, without the sesame seeds. Our breads also work great for gluten-free sandwiches of course.
