Thanksgiving is coming up, and we've been working hard to have everything ready for your feast!
For pastry lovers we have pumpkin or apple pie, pumpkin or raisin butter tarts, and our fruit galettes filled with soft almond frangipane.
If you like cake, we'll have our Chocolate Cake with brandied peach preserves and dark chocolate ganache, or an Almond Torte layered with local quince puree & buttercream.
We'll have special batches of our Herb & Garlic Vega bread on Friday Oct 6 (great for stuffing - or just eating).
If you want us to help save you a step, you could get a bag of our stuffing mix: cubed/dried bread with organic herbs added. Reserve ahead since we'll have a limited amount.
Our latest meat pies are made with local turkey, caramelized onions, and finely diced sweet potatoes, with a dollop of cranberry sauce on the top before baking. If you're not having a feast and just want an easy turkey dinner for 2, grab one of these pies and add veggies and more cranberry sauce!
Don't forget some cookies for the kids to munch on while you prepare dinner, and our granola makes an easy breakfast option for out of town guests.
As always, we highly recommend placing orders ahead to make sure you get what you need. It will be a busy weekend, so be aware we have some earlier order cut-offs. We'll also have lots available on a first come first served basis.
Early order cut-offs before Thanksgiving weekend Friday/Saturday (Oct 6/7):
Cakes/Pastries - noon on Wed, Oct 4
Breads/Buns & the rest - noon on Thurs, Oct 5
We will be open earlier, at 8am, at our Goldstream Ave location on Sat, Oct 7.
