Just like a baguette should be, this one is moist and chewy on the inside, and crusty on the outside. You can use it to make a sandwich, or for large hotdogs or smokies, or just tear off chunks to eat. This bread is best enjoyed the day it's made and will dry out quite a bit if left out til the next day. If you need to buy this in advance of the day you are using it, we recommend wrapping it tightly in cling film and freezing until you need it. After thawing, warm it up a bit in the oven or microwave before serving. If you are stuck with a baguette that was forgotten on the counter overnight, don't fret - you can slice and toast for lovely canape crackers or make bread crumbs!
